These source grains can be adjusted in size and position and combined with mask images—such as geometric shapes—to create unique Brushes for drawing patterns. Users can also employ multiple Particle Brushes within their creations. The application features a modular synth-style patching system that allows for an extensive range of parameter controls, enabling users to save presets that include basic source images.
Essentially, the primary Pixi application functions as a modular synthesizer, which has been utilized to develop a collection of interactive visual presets for use in the streamlined Pixi Player applications. The "Bogus Order" app serves as one of these Pixi Players, specifically designed to complement the music from the Zen Brakes 2 album, with each track associated with its own dedicated Pixi preset.
